I started my artwork in the commercial world.

On moving to South West Wilts in the late 1980s I found a different way of painting to please myself.  My mainly mixed media work has become increasingly abstract, based on memories and emotions triggered by remembered 'snapshots' of places visited and the downs amongst which I live.

In 2002 I was invited to join SCA, an artist led Wessex based group with whom I have exhibited regularly. I have also exhibited in London at The Mall and Guildhall galleries and in the South West, including RWA (Bristol), St. Ives (Cornwall), Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset, and have taken part regularly in the Wylye Valley Art Trail and the Hampshire Art Fair, with work in private collections both at home and abroad.
